About the project
Peace in Peril emerged while I was building Modus Lab in the Gulf, under rocket alerts and amid the surreal task of trying to create something future-facing as conflict unfolded around us. It reflects on war, power, oil, and the fragility of peace.

The work is being developed as a limited edition poster, button badges, and a small run of tees. Petroleum-based ink is also being explored in the screen printing process, lending the piece greater material relevance by turning a substance tied to conflict into part of the object itself. Part of the proceeds will go to the UNHCR Middle East Appeal.
